The process used for removal of all dissolved salts from water is referred to as deionization or demineralization. Deionization requires the flow of water through two ion exchange materials in order to affect the removal of all salt content.
Aries Ultra High-Purity & Low Odor Deionization cartridges are engineered to provide a resistivity of between 14-18 MΩ. In addition the standard characteristic of demineralization, the media has low odor characteristics (for humidification), and low TOC (for sensitivity to organics). These cartridges are ideal for misting, humidification, and laboratory applications. Sized to fit standard slimline and big blue housings.
