ResinTech, Inc. announces today the purchase of Hydro Components, a division of Electro pure, Inc. (OTC: BB: ELTP) a Laguna Hills, CA based manufacturer of water purification and fluid filtration equipment. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

Hydro Components manufactures a variety of small water treatment systems and related filtration equipment and cartridges for use water and wastewater processing and reclamation. ResinTech President Mike Gottlieb stated: “We are excited about adding the Hydro Components products to our current portfolio of products. This acquisition will give ResinTech a more complete line of products and services that we can offer our expanding customer base.”

ResinTech will move the Hydro Components operations to its Cherry Hill facilities. The Hydro Components products will be marketed under ResinTech’s recently formed Aries Division. The acquisition is expected to create an additional seven positions in the Company.

ResinTech manufactures ion exchange resins, activated carbon, and cartridges for potable and wastewater treatment systems.
